The Nor+ Powered Flex has undergone engineering improvements that simplify installation, streamline operations, and support future expansion. From passthrough power to enhanced operator controls, every update was designed to reduce complexity while increasing versatility.
Simplified Power Distribution
The Nor+ Powered Flex V2 simplifies operation and storage by allowing multiple conveyors to connect in series using passthrough power. This standard feature allows the user to power up to 120 feet of conveyor from a single 110V 30A L5-30P power drop. Simply connect the passthrough power cables and the controls interface cables.
Cleaner Cable Management
Nor+ Powered Flex V2 simplifies cable management, while creating a cleaner and more organized solution. With fewer exposed cables and components, the system is easier to deploy, access, and maintain.
Convenient Operator Controls
Routine adjustments no longer require opening electrical enclosures or calling maintenance. Our new Powered Flex places key operating functions where they are needed most. Integrated operator stations provide direct access to start, stop, reverse, change speed, and engage continuous discharge. Make changes in seconds to keep product moving and minimize downtime.
Improved Mobility
The Nor+ Powered Flex comes standard with 6-inch industrial casters, making it easier to move conveyor sections across uneven warehouse floors, dock plates, and expansion joints. Locking brakes are added throughout the length of the conveyor for additional control. Together, these features improve maneuverability, increase workplace flexibility, and provide stability when required.
New Accumulation Benefits
Accumulation models of the Nor+ Powered Flex use Zero Pressure Accumulation (ZPA) for zone-controlled product flow. Each zone contains a sensor and motor that work together with a controller to communicate with adjacent zones and downstream equipment. During forward operation, product only advances when the next zone is clear. During reverse operation, the conveyor runs continuously in transportation mode until product reaches the Reverse Hold sensor. Reverse Hold is new feature that is standard on the V2 model.
The Nor+ Powered Flex V2 Accumulation model adds new functionality while lowering the total cost of ownership. Continuous Discharge is now enabled with a switch at the discharge operator station, allowing the conveyor to operate continuously like a transportation model when needed. In addition, each driver card controls multiple conveyor zones, reducing spare parts, simplifying maintenance, and lowering lifecycle costs.
Transportation That Adapts
Transportation models of the Nor+ Powered Flex provide continuous product flow without independent zone control. All conveyor zones run together in both the forward and reverse directions. This operating mode is ideal for moving product between processes where accumulation is not required.
The Nor+ Powered Flex V2 Transportation model adds new functionality while reducing the cost of ownership. Optional plug-and-play photo eyes allow the Package Stop feature in the forward direction, or the Reverse Hold feature in the reverse direction. Standard infeed and outfeed communication cables allow the conveyors to exchange handshake signals with other conveyors and equipment. In addition, a single driver card now controls the entire conveyor, reducing replacement parts and simplifying maintenance.

NorthAmCon’s Nor+ Flex Assist is a powered cart to aid the movement of Nor+ Flex conveyors. This device is a standalone unit and can be used to service multiple Nor+ flex conveyors at your dock doors.
